As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Web Developer who is passionate about eCommerce, user experience, and conversion optimization.
What We Are Looking For
Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and results-driven Web Developer with strong front-end and back-end development skills and a passion for eCommerce. Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and data-driven decision making is highly preferred.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize modern eCommerce websites and web applications
- Develop responsive, accessible interfaces using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Build and maintain reusable component systems using shadcn/ui and Radix UI primitives
- Translate wireframes, Figma designs, product requirements, and user feedback into polished production interfaces
- Create intuitive user flows with thoughtful interaction, loading, validation, empty, error, and success states
- Ensure interfaces work consistently across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
- Apply strong UX/UI principles to navigation, forms, product discovery, merchandising, cart, and checkout experiences
- Integrate REST or GraphQL APIs, third-party services, analytics platforms, and eCommerce tools
- Optimize application performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and technical SEO
- Troubleshoot browser, layout, state-management, integration, and performance issues
- Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers, and stakeholders on A/B tests and CRO initiatives
- Analyze user behaviour, experiment results, and product metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Communicate project progress, technical decisions, risks, and milestones clearly
- Evaluate and introduce new front-end technologies when they provide meaningful product or development benefits
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience implementing and maintaining A/B tests for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). Experience with Convert.com is preferred but not required, along with the ability to analyze experiment results and collaborate with marketing teams to improve website performance
- Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Next.js or a comparable modern React framework
- Deep experience with shadcn/ui, Radix UI, and component composition
- Strong Tailwind CSS skills, including responsive layouts, semantic design tokens, and reusable variants
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries
- Understanding of accessible UI patterns, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus management, and WCAG guidelines
- Strong visual judgment across typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, motion, and interaction states
- Ability to turn Figma designs into precise, responsive, production-quality interfaces
- Experience designing effective UX for forms, navigation, search, filters, product pages, carts, and checkout flows
- Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, JSON data, and third-party platforms
- Familiarity with state management, server/client rendering boundaries, and asynchronous data flows
- Experience with front-end testing tools such as Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress
- Knowledge of browser performance, Core Web Vitals, image optimization, code splitting, and bundle optimization
- Experience with BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or similar eCommerce platforms
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or comparable analytics tools
- Experience with A/B testing platforms such as Convert, VWO, Optimizely, or Intelligems
- Understanding of CRO methodologies, experimentation practices, and SEO fundamentals
- Experience with Git, pull-request workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Benefits: Extended Health and Dental Benefits after 3 months of full-time employment.
