What You’ll Do: As an HVAC Assembler, you’ll dive deep into Air Wise’s policies and procedures, leveraging your knowledge to support production and expand our market presence. Your role will be dynamic, allowing you to work both independently and collaboratively with a talented team.

What We’re Looking For:

Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Use a variety of measuring instruments including tape measures, squares, and levels
- Use a variety of hand and power tools including tin snips, screw guns, drills, and grinders to assemble custom HVAC equipment
- Use a MIG welder for tacking and stitch welding
- Understand a basic knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
- Read and understand blueprints and assembly drawings
- Assemble of equipment base frames, wall panels and cabinet, and internal components
- Operate material handling equipment including forklift, crane, and pump cart
- Maintain shop and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner
- Promote teamwork and good company morale; mentor and knowledge share with teammates; conduct yourself with the highest ethical standards
Qualifications & Education:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Experience working with sheet metal, metal fabrication processes and/or on HVAC equipment an asset
- Basic knowledge of assembly/manufacturing equipment and processes
- Physically capable; able to lift heavy parts (50lbs), stand for extended periods of time, and twist, bend and reach unrestricted
- Ability to work in a team or group environment and independently with minimal instruction
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines
