This role is hybrid and requires the successful candidate to work from our downtown Toronto office and/or the client site a minimum of three (3) days per week, subject to change based on business or client requirements.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer to join our team and support the successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end testing of Salesforce implementations, with a particular focus on integration testing and validating complex system interactions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing for Salesforce implementations, with a strong emphasis on integration testing.
- Validate data flows and system interactions between Salesforce and external applications, including Salesforce-to-Salesforce integrations using Salesforce Connector.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Test and validate functionality within Salesforce, with particular focus on the Leads and Opportunities modules to ensure data integrity and business process accuracy.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through to resolution while collaborating with development teams.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, developers, business analysts, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Ensure quality standards, security requirements, and testing best practices are adhered to throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes and overall product quality.
- Support test automation initiatives where applicable.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Proven experience in end-to-end testing of Salesforce applications.
- Strong experience with Salesforce integration testing and validation of data flows across interconnected systems.
- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce-to-Salesforce integrations using Salesforce Connector.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce CRM, particularly the Leads and Opportunities modules.
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and defect management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- A strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with test automation tools such as AccelQ, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Experience in the Wealth Management or broader Financial Services domain.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
