Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid background in food service and hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing customer interactions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Prior experience in restaurant management, food handling, and POS systems is essential to ensure smooth service delivery and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Experience

Greet and seat guests promptly while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Monitor service quality to ensure consistent guest satisfaction.
Address guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and diplomacy.
Uphold dining room ambiance, cleanliness, and overall comfort throughout service.

2. Staff Leadership

Train, coach, and supervise FOH team members to deliver high-quality service.
Ensure all staff follow established steps of service.
Motivate employees and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

3. Operational Oversight

Coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and table turnover efficiently during peak hours.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory management of beverages and FOH supplies.
Track customer feedback and service metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support POS configuration, transaction accuracy, and cash-handling procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in food & beverage or hospitality leadership; hotel or destination dining experience is an asset.
Proven ability to hire, train, motivate, and lead high-performing teams.
Hands-on leadership style with a strong commitment to exceptional guest service.
Solid understanding of FOH operations, including service standards, reservations, and beverage programs.
Experience with POS systems, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
Genuine passion for hospitality, food, and beverage, with a focus on creating memorable and inspired dining experiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
