Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary talents in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and meets safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Follow food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry

Qualifications

Prior food service experience, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Experience with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
Strong understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience with familiarity in using various cooking equipment is preferred
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills and responsibilities
