Job Title: Project Coordinator - Pipeline Construction

Location: Calgary, AB

Schedule: Hybrid (In Office: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | Remote: Wednesday, Friday)

Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator - Pipeline Construction to support a portfolio of projects by coordinating, maintaining, and driving updates to key project milestones. This role is focused on milestone-based scheduling rather than detailed schedule development and requires strong stakeholder engagement, organization, and communication skills to ensure accurate, consistent, and actionable schedule information across multiple projects.

What's the Job?

Coordinate the development, maintenance, and update of a standardized set of approximately 17 key project milestones across a portfolio of projects.
Engage proactively with project managers, engineering, construction, procurement, and other stakeholders to gather timely and accurate milestone updates.
Drive ownership and accountability for milestone schedule updates across project teams.
Ensure milestone schedules accurately reflect project execution strategies, risks, scope changes, and schedule adjustments.
Maintain and update milestone schedules using Primavera P6 while ensuring consistency across the project portfolio.
Promote adoption and effective use of milestone schedules by delivering clear, relevant, and valuable information to project teams.
Provide regular reporting and insights regarding milestone status, critical dates, risks, trends, and variances.
Support reporting, analytics, and dashboard development using Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
Identify opportunities to improve milestone tracking, reporting processes, and overall schedule effectiveness.
Support project execution teams by maintaining practical and efficient schedule processes that facilitate project delivery.
Adapt to changing portfolio priorities and evolving project requirements.

What's Needed?

Minimum 3 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or a related discipline.
Working knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 is required.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience proactively engaging stakeholders and driving completion of schedule deliverables.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Experience with Power BI, Excel, or similar reporting and visualization tools is considered an asset.
Understanding of project lifecycles and key execution milestones is considered an asset.
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with project teams.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to schedule accuracy.
