Final Stage Installer (Wrecker & Towing Equipment)

Northern Alberta Tow Truck Sales is looking for a skilled and experienced Final Stage Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will install wrecker bodies, carrier bodies, and other specialized towing equipment on new chassis.
We are a proud Miller Industries distributor, primarily working with the Vulcan and Chevron lines of towing equipment. Our builds range from light-duty wreckers to full-size rotators — we take every truck from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review design drawings to layout builds, including cab-to-axle measurements and cut-off lengths
- Install PTOs and hydraulic pumps on new chassis
- Plumb hydraulic lines to the rear of the chassis with clean, tidy runs and strong attention to detail
- Wire wrecker junction boxes or modules from the chassis using durable connections suitable for Canadian conditions
- Mount wrecker and carrier bodies
- Prep side packs, toolboxes, headache racks, and light pylons for aftermarket lighting prior to painting
- Install painted toolboxes, light pylons, and headache racks with care
- Wire aftermarket lighting in a clean and professional manner
- Test all equipment functionality and maintain accurate records of time and materials used
Schedule & Benefits:
- Full-time position — 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Some weekend work available as needed (optional)

Requirements:
- Proven experience in final-stage truck upfitting, heavy equipment installation, or similar mechanical work
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy truck assembly
- Ability to work from drawings and technical specifications
- Own tools required
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain high workmanship standards
