Overview

oddBar is looking for an enthusiastic server/bartender to join out team.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders and payments smoothly
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and providing change
Maintain cleanliness of the service area, bar, and dining spaces
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food industry protocols and sanitation practices
Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tables or bar patrons efficiently during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
Familiarity with POS systems
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices
Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising service quality
Experience with cashiering duties including processing payments accurately and efficiently
Knowledge of craft beer
