Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Capital Management, this Senior Analyst role contributes directly to the Bank's results by providing the capital impacts of line of business and consolidated capital reporting. The role sits within Enterprise Capital Management (ECM), a function within the Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) department responsible for overseeing the management of TD's consolidated non-trading market risk, funding strategies and liquidity risk, capital position, and funds transfer pricing framework. ECM is specifically responsible for managing the bank's capital adequacy and efficiency; capital allocation methodology; oversight on subsidiary capital management; coordinating regulatory advocacy; developing and reporting on the banks' internal capital adequacy assessment process; supporting the analysis of corporate development opportunities; and forecasting and analyzing the consolidated regulatory capital requirements. This is an 8-month maternity leave backfill supporting enterprise capital management and regulatory capital reporting processes. The role is highly visible, spanning change management coordination (~70% of the role), production support (~10 15%), and operational support activities. The candidate will primarily coordinate change activities while subject matter experts handle technical capital interpretations. December is the busiest period due to annual regulatory changes, and managing the December quarterly release which includes annual OSFI regulatory changes represents the biggest challenge of the role.
Change Management / Project Coordination (70% of the role Highest Priority)

Leverage OSFI CAR and system knowledge to manage the issue intake process supporting production Enterprise Capital Reporting as well as associated change management.

Actively participate in recurring prioritization forums to review incoming tickets, communicate planned items and upcoming releases, and coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders and segments.

Socialize the planning for, and implementation/business validation of, process and rule changes.
-
Coordinate testing of change components by upstream business segments.
-
Coordinate quarterly releases for capital reporting tools.
-
Manage project timelines, priorities, testing cycles, and stakeholder communication.
-
Organize meetings, resolve conflicts, track dependencies, and obtain testing sign-offs.

Ensure cross-functional teams stay aligned throughout release cycles.

Act as the central coordinator who understands the overall process.
Production Support (10 15%)

Participate in Emergency Forums for production incident resolution, providing advice on workaround options and hotfix requirements.

Monitor Jira for production defects.

Coordinate issue resolution with technical team members.

Track incidents and ensure timely resolution.
Operational Support

Run and monitor an internal RWA (Risk Weighted Assets) analysis tool.

Follow established SOPs to execute daily operational tasks.

Work effectively with various stakeholders (including Segment Finance, Chief Accounting Group, Risk Management, and other areas within Treasury) to ensure coordination and consistent understanding of priorities and regulatory capital guidelines.

Own SOX processes and controls.

Support the ongoing review of capital interpretations to ensure appropriate application of the rules and continued compliance.

Maintain a good understanding of both financial markets in general and the various products and strategies employed by the Bank.

Support governance and identification of risks related to regulatory capital reporting requirements.

Support regular and ad-hoc capital reporting and requirements from regulators and senior management.
