Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stucco Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying and finishing stucco on various building projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse residential and commercial projects, contributing to the aesthetic and structural integrity of new constructions and renovations. A strong background in construction painting, carpentry, and handyman skills is highly valued, along with the ability to read blueprints and perform caulking.

Responsibilities

Apply stucco finishes to exterior and interior surfaces according to project specifications.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or repairing prior to application.
Mix and apply stucco materials using hand tools and spray equipment.
Finish surfaces with textures, colors, or patterns as specified in blueprints or client requests.
Perform caulking around windows, doors, and joints to ensure weatherproofing.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
Coordinate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to ensure seamless project completion.
Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety protocols on-site.
Assist with minor handyman tasks or carpentry work as needed during project execution.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting, stucco finishing, or related trades.
Strong knowledge of construction processes including carpentry and blueprint reading.
Skilled in caulking techniques and surface preparation methods.
Ability to operate hand tools, spray equipment, and other relevant machinery safely.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
Prior handyman experience is a plus but not required.
Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
