Bingemans is one of the Waterloo Region's largest and most dynamic meeting and conference facilities. In addition, Bingemans is one of Southwestern Ontario's largest catering companies for both on and off-site events, with over 70 years of successful event experience. In the fall, we turn into Canada’s most terrifying haunted attraction- Screampark. In October, the Oktoberfest Kool Haus is home to thousands of guests to celebrate KW Oktoberfest (North America's largest Bavarian festival). Bingemans’ portfolio includes Kingpin Bowlounge and Putt Social, with locations in Kitchener, Cambridge and St. Catharine’s.

Bartenders are the engine of the Front of House, they carefully mix up cocktails and pour drinks for all of our Guests. They are responsible for ensuring that our most important people, our Guests, have an excellent Boston Pizza experience from start to finish. Dedicated to serving our Guests perfect drinks, every time, they are also great at building relationships at the bar through conversation and situational serving. They believe in championing a fun and safe work environment, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

What will you be doing?

Preparing classic cocktails, mixed drinks, wines & spirits beverages
Ensuring consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality
Ensuring all working areas are always maintained in a clean and hygienic condition; Maintaining bar area and glassware throughout the shift, prepare the opening and closing
Maintaining and controlling inventory of bar stock and supplies; Maintains kegs; Stocks shelves in the bar area
Managing the bar opening and closing duties
Complying with all food and beverage regulations
Maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant

What are we looking for?

Previous Bartending experience is required
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (Smart Serve Certification is required)
Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and have a strong initiative
