Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Montana Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience in a welcoming setting. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling protocols. The Montana Bartender will play a key role in creating a lively atmosphere while maintaining high standards of hospitality and safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
Use POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including giving correct change and processing payments.
Ensure all food and beverage service complies with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any special requests or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations.
Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests promptly without compromising quality.
Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills accurately.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy shifts.
Hospitality experience is preferred but not required; a friendly attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol legally.
