Rhodes Wellness College is seeking Teaching Assistant's (TA's) to join our Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) program in Vancouver at 116 West 6th avenue at our new campus.

Role Overview
We are hiring Teaching Assistants across the RMT program. Being a Teaching Assistant is an opportunity to work alongside experienced educators while contributing your knowledge, skills, and expertise to enhance the student learning experience.
Teaching Assistant opportunities may include supporting courses in areas such as:
- Musculoskeletal anatomy
- Orthopaedic assessment and treatment
- Anatomy and physiology
- Pathology
- Neurology and neurological conditions
- Professional practice, communication, and ethics
- Clinical supervision in the student clinic
Position Summary
The Teacher’s Assistant (TA) is a valued member of the Rhodes classroom team who supports both the instructor and students and is a contract only position. This role offers RMT's an opportunity to deepen their skills in communication, leadership, facilitation, and administration, while meaningfully contributing to the educational experience of others. Professional TAs are reliable, organized, and empathetic individuals committed to fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Instructor & Classroom Support May Include:
- Track and input student attendance and grades in Campus Login
- Support Zoom classroom operations (breakouts, spotlighting, tech troubleshooting, screen sharing, creating polls, etc.)
- Assist with Moodle course administration (uploading resources, updating grades, etc.)
- Support with providing feedback to students and the marking of assignments and professionalism
- Share key classroom observations, notes, or concerns with the instructor
- Summarize communications with students and share relevant updates with faculty
- Collaborate with instructors to prepare for sessions and debrief after classes
- Lead or participate in check-ins, curriculum activities, or in-class demos as agreed with the instructor
Student Support May Include:
- Act as a first point of contact for students in need of guidance or clarification
- Model communication, interpersonal skills, confidentiality, respect, and genuine care with unconditional positive regard for the well-being and success of students
- Provide communication regarding assignments, due dates, group agreements, attendance notices
- Promote student accountability and refer to:
- Instructor/Semester Supervisor for academic or classroom challenges and concerns
- The student’s designated Student Success Supervisor (SSS) for wellness and personal support needs
What We’re Looking For
Required (RMT Applicants):
- Registered Massage Therapist in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of clinical practice

Schedule & Compensation
- Online: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM PST
- In-person: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:45 PM – 5:45 PM
- No current weekend
- Scheduling varies by semester
- Contract roles, with employee option at 20+ hours/week
