Overview

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with guests, create memorable experiences, and develop your skills within the food and beverage industry. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS and food handling procedures is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate excellent time management, math skills, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take and serve drink orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Ensure proper food safety and food handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining area in accordance with health regulations
Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively during busy hours
Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations as needed
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote menu items
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
Knowledge of POS systems such as Touch Bistro POS is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Hospitality experience is desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol

Pay: $15.00 per hour
