Incentive Opportunity: North Bay Regional Health Centre is pleased to offer a $10,000 recruitment incentive for the successful candidate. This incentive is payable in two equal installments within the first year of service and is conditional upon a four-year return-of-service agreement. Join a collaborative Diagnostic Imaging team where your expertise in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing high-quality gamma camera imaging, and delivering exceptional patient care will make a meaningful impact every day.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Experience/Knowledge:

Member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) Certificate required (recent within the last twelve months)
Certified Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is an asset
Multimodality training preferred
Knowledge of Meditech system preferred

Skills/Abilities:

Strong organizational skills required
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required
Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of client groups to ensure patient focused care delivery
Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Ability to use a variety of computer applications
Good attendance and work record required
Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors
Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required. All unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered if the identified French requirement has been met or there are no successful bilingual candidates. A formal French test will be conducted to evaluate the proficiency level.
