CSR - Booster Juice - Student Work Study job opportunities open to full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.
Eligible Students
- Domestic and International Students at Fanshawe College must be a full-time registered student, and meet financial needs assessment criteria
- Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.

Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Booster Juice provides high-quality, friendly service to all guests by taking accurate orders, preparing food and beverages to standard, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the store. CSRs are expected to have a strong knowledge of menu items, deliver great customer service, and support a welcoming, efficient environment.
This position may also float to other areas in the Hospitality department (e.g., Kitchen Prep, Cook, Cashier, Customer Service Rep) to meet staffing needs.
Job Duties
- Greet every customer and provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Take accurate orders and communicate effectively with the team.
- Guide customers through the menu, make recommendations, and respond to questions.
- Ensure customers are charged correctly and handle payments per procedures.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally.
- Prepare smoothies, food, and beverages according to Booster Juice standards.
- Maintain familiarity with all menu items and specials.
- Follow operational flow and quality assurance standards.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Perform opening/closing duties, daily cleaning tasks, and follow checklists.
- Stock supplies, rotate inventory, and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance issues
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain professional appearance and hygiene; ensure standards are upheld across the team.
- Assist in on-the-job training of new team members as needed.
- Float to other Hospitality operations when required.
- Support store goals for sales and profitability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Fanshawe College Work Study eligibility preferred.
- Previous restaurant or café experience an asset.
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating service volumes and work under pressure.
- Willingness to be cross‑trained across all hospitality stations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safe food‑handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and respectfully.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email).
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
