Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service environments, possess strong kitchen skills, and be passionate about delivering quality meals to our customers. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic restaurant setting, supporting the kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and standards
Cook and serve dishes as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor
Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
Support food service operations by plating dishes and assisting with serving when needed
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock levels
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with kitchen staff

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Experience in serving customers or working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is advantageous
Kitchen experience including basic cooking skills, food handling, and sanitation practices is highly desirable

This role is vital for maintaining efficient kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences. We value applicants who are passionate about food service, attentive to detail, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Pay: $16.20-$21.00 per hour
