About the Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant at HealthOne, you will support the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will assist in the efficient processing of prescriptions, provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, and ensure smooth pharmacy operations that contribute to an exceptional patient experience.
Your primary responsibilities will include accurately entering patient and prescription information, supporting the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist, assisting with third‑party claim submissions, and helping patients with general over‑the‑counter inquiries. You will also play an important role in maintaining organized and well‑managed inventory to ensure medication and product availability.
This position requires a proactive and compassionate approach, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. You will help uphold HealthOne’s commitment to safety, accuracy, and holistic patient care by following regulatory standards and ensuring meticulous documentation practices. Through your contributions, you will help create a positive and supportive healthcare environment for our diverse patient community.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner and ensure all prescription details and patient information are accurately confirmed before processing.

Enter and update patient records with a high level of accuracy while maintaining confidentiality.

Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and support patients in understanding coverage as needed.

Assist in the precise dispensing and packaging of prescription medications in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Maintain pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels, organizing supplies.

Facilitate smooth and efficient prescription pickup, confirm patient identity, provide clear communication on medication handling, and ensure an exceptional customer service experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, preferably in a community or multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Proven ability to provide exceptional patient and customer service with a compassionate, empathetic, and patient‑centered approach.

Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience with the Fillware is an asset, along with comfort learning new software and digital tools.

Compensation:
- $18-$20 hourly.
