IKEA Halifax is looking for a part time Fulfilment Operations Co-worker
A day in your life with us
- You’ll perform core customer fulfilment support processes in the assigned area of responsibility, using our systems and tools to support efficient fulfilment operations and data integrity.
- You’ll be contributing towards helping us ensure the highest goods availability through accurate and on-time execution of the assigned fulfilment unit operations area of responsibility.
- We’ll expect you to adhere to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and business requirements and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
- You’ll help ensure optimised daily fulfilment unit operations within the assigned area of responsibility by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way, applying and sharing best practice and examples of customer-focused working practices.
About this work area
We’re the team behind the scenes that make IKEA products available to the many people. If you’ve wonder who’s responsible for effective and efficient ways of stocking products for our customers in our store and self serve warehouse, that’s us. We use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimizing costs.

To support our fulfilment processes and requirements, some of our Fulfilment Co-Workers work at night, ensuring that our store is ready and well-stocked for our customers during regular business hours. This role is for a position in our overnight team.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 19.24 CAD to 22 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.

- Our Halifax store is located at 645 Cutler Ave, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, B3B 0M2. Will you be able to get to that location reliably when you need to work there? Please note that there is no public transportation that reaches IKEA for the start of the work shift.
- This is a job that can be physically demanding. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and walk between 15K and 20K steps per day. Are you comfortable with that?
