Role Overview
On behalf of our client, True Aim Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Security Architect to serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to the client's most senior stakeholders. In this high-impact, client-facing role, you will design, govern, and deliver enterprise security solutions that enable the organization to transform its business securely while measurably reducing cyber risk.
Operating across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, you will shape security strategy at the executive level, architect resilient solutions grounded in Zero Trust principles, and lead the client through complex compliance and risk-management initiatives. You will be a visible leader within the practice — driving engagement quality, mentoring technical talent, and contributing directly to practice growth.
Emphasis: Executive Advisory and Architecture Leadership
This role centers on high-level security architecture and executive advisory rather than day-to-day operations. Our client is looking for a senior architect who can shape multi-year security roadmaps, lead board-level briefings, and translate complex technical risk into business-aligned strategy — while mentoring technical talent and contributing to practice growth.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture and Strategy
- Lead end-to-end enterprise security architecture engagements, from discovery and current-state assessment through target-state design and roadmap execution.
- Design and deliver security architectures spanning Zero Trust, cloud, identity, network, application, and data protection domains.
- Develop multi-year security roadmaps, reference architectures, and governance standards aligned to the client's business objectives and risk appetite.
Cloud and Technical Advisory
- Advise on securing AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments, including landing-zone design, workload protection, and cloud-native security services.
- Lead architecture reviews, threat-modelling sessions, and enterprise risk assessments, applying knowledge of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (MITRE ATT&CK) to translate technical findings into prioritized, business-aligned recommendations.
- Produce high-quality deliverables, including approach papers, assessment reports, target-state architectures, and executive dashboards that track security-posture improvement.
- Champion secure-by-design practices, embedding DevSecOps, identity-first security, and defence-in-depth principles into delivery.
Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Guide the client through compliance and certification initiatives, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Establish security governance frameworks, policies, and control baselines that withstand audit and regulatory scrutiny.
Delivery and Leadership
- Provide architectural leadership across SOC, MDR, Incident Response, and vCISO engagements.
- Deliver compelling executive briefings and board-level presentations that articulate risk, strategy, and return on security investment.
- Support pre-sales and business development, scoping engagements, shaping proposals and statements of work, and representing the practice in client pursuits.
- Mentor consultants and engineers, raising the technical bar across the practice and supporting the development of reusable assets and accelerators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity or IT experience, including 3+ years in a dedicated security architecture role.
- Prior experience within an MSSP, professional services, or consulting organization, with a demonstrated record of successful client delivery.
- Deep, hands-on expertise across Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, the Microsoft Security ecosystem, IAM, DevSecOps, and Zero Trust architecture.
- Working knowledge of the end-to-end attack lifecycle and adversary TTPs, with the ability to incorporate threat intelligence into architecture and remediation decisions.
- Exceptional communication and executive-presence skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical teams, C-suite audiences, and legal counsel.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for client workshops and on-site engagements.
Preferred Certifications
- Security leadership: CISSP, CCSP, CISM
- Cloud security: Microsoft SC-100, AZ-500, AWS Certified Security – Specialty

Compensation and Benefits

- Hybrid schedule balancing on-site collaboration and remote focus, with up to 25% travel for client engagements.
- Long-term growth opportunity with an established Professional Services organization.
