ABOUT INFOTRACK CANADA
InfoTrack Canada is a fast-growing legal technology company modernizing the infrastructure that connects law firms, lenders, title insurers, and government registries.
At InfoTrack, our company culture is often described as uniquely outstanding and the best many of our people have experienced in their careers. As a flexible, forward-thinking, and inclusive employer, we embrace individuality. We value your strengths and encourage you to pursue a sense of accomplishment in our supportive and dynamic culture. InfoTrack is a place where you can grow and develop in your career, all while being your authentic self.
We’re adding AI-native workflows, deepening legal and lender integrations, and expanding nationally. You will define what we build and how it looks, feels, and works — owning the full product experience from strategy through to shipped interface. You will work directly alongside engineers, leveraging AI-assisted development tools including Claude Code to ship faster and smarter and be held accountable for outcomes, not just deliverables. This is a senior opportunity at a company investing heavily in Canada and expanding nationally from our base in Ontario.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Own the platform and integrations roadmap including API delivery strategy, partner integration architecture (lenders, notaries, registry bodies), and developer-facing documentation. You will be an active participant in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and engineering reviews — not a handoff PM.
- Lead AI product development: identify where AI meaningfully reduces friction (document extraction, workflow automation, compliance checking) and work with engineering to ship it. Actively use Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to accelerate build cycles, write and review implementation specs, and prototype feature logic alongside engineers.
- Own the end-to-end UX design process: user research, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
- Design for complex, multi-role workflows — a single transaction may involve a solicitor, lender, notary, and registry — and ensure each person's experience is coherent and efficient.
- Define and maintain the integration framework across legal tech (law firms, practice / conveyance management systems), financial tech (banks, credit unions, insurance), and regtech (OBR, provincial registries).
- Work directly with enterprise partners to translate their workflows into product requirements and own the delivery outcome. You’re equally comfortable in a law firm IT meeting and a bank API review, and you follow through until the integration is live.
- Plan and execute qualitative research: user interviews, contextual inquiry, usability studies, and task analysis with legal professionals, lenders, and notaries.
- Drive the developer experience: API design, webhook architecture, field schemas, and sandbox environments working collaboratively with local and near shore engineering teams.
- Work collaboratively with the Australian InfoTrack product and engineering teams to leverage the global platform, applications, tools and processes to maximize product capabilities and optimize time to market.
- Partner with the CEO, CTO and leadership team on product strategy, competitive positioning, and build vs. buy decisions.
- Present product direction, design rationale, and UX research findings to internal stakeholders and enterprise clients.
- Work with sales and customer success to gather design requirements from law firms, lenders, and title insurers, and translate them into product decisions.
- Maintain a transparent product roadmap that clients and internal teams can reference, balancing commitments with discovery work.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–9 years of combined product management and UX/product design experience, with meaningful time in at least two of: legal tech, regtech, government tech, or financial tech.
- Strong UX design skills: information architecture, wireframing, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI in Figma (or equivalent). You produce design artefacts, not just requirements documents.
- Deep API fluency and experience owning integration products end-to-end, written or reviewed OpenAPI specs, and managed developer portals.
- Hands-on AI product experience where you’ve shipped AI-assisted workflows, understand prompt engineering tradeoffs, and can evaluate LLM suitability for regulated use cases. Comfortable using agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalents) as part of your day-to-day workflow — this is not optional for this role.
- Experience working across complex stakeholder ecosystems: ideally where the customer includes both end users (lawyers, notaries) and institutional partners (lenders, registries).
- Technically hands-on and comfortable working directly alongside engineers. You can read a schema, understand a webhook payload, review a pull request for context, and write or iterate on implementation specs using Claude Code. You don’t need to ship production code, but you move at engineering speed.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Bilingual French/English a meaningful asset.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
We want to be honest about the shape of this role so the right candidates apply:
- This is not a role where product and design are separate functions. You own both. If you want to hand off wireframes to a dedicated design team or receive requirements from a dedicated PM, this is not the right fit.
- This is not a roadmap-maintenance role. You will be expected to conduct original research, challenge assumptions, and propose directions that haven’t been explored yet.
- This is not a role where you manage other designers or PMs in the near term. This is a hands-on IC role. Leadership opportunities will follow as the team grows, but not on day one.
COMPENSATION
The base salary range for this role is $120,000 – $140,000 CAD annually, plus a performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary tied to product and company metrics. Final compensation will reflect your experience, domain depth, and demonstrated delivery. In accordance with provincial pay transparency legislation — including Ontario’s Pay Transparency Act and British Columbia’s Pay Transparency Act — InfoTrack Canada discloses a pay range for all advertised positions.
