Fleetway is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team.
This role provides administrative and coordination support for Fleetway's high-volume recruitment function. Working closely with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for keeping recruitment activities organized and on track through the coordination of interviews, employment offers, candidate communications, pre-employment activities, recruitment documentation, and other talent acquisition processes.
With ongoing growth and significant hiring activity across the organization, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, and takes pride in providing exceptional service and administrative support. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition team and ensuring a positive and professional experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct initial resume screening and candidate pre-screening activities to identify qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews and recruitment activities between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters.
- Support a positive candidate experience through timely communication and coordination throughout the hiring process.
- Assist hiring managers and recruiters by collecting interview feedback, tracking candidate progress, and supporting timely hiring decisions.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate the approvals required to move candidates through the hiring process.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including the collection of required documentation, and onboarding requirements.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), as well as recruitment and employee records in accordance with company processes and standards.
- Support Fleetway's employee referral program and student recruitment initiatives, including career fairs, co-op hiring, and campus engagement activities.
- Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources.
- Experience in recruitment, administration, customer service, coordination, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRIS, or related technology considered an asset.
- Interest in or experience with marketing, communications, employer branding, or social media considered an asset.
Please note that this position is based full-time at our Dartmouth, NS office and is not eligible for remote work.
