Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory and Receiving Specialist who will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording incoming materials and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role ensures that all shipments are processed efficiently, inventory transactions are completed accurately, and materials are available to support production while maintaining a safe and organized shopfloor environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary receiving gatekeeper for all Hardware (HW) and Raw Material (RM) deliveries.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Confirm material specifications, traceability, and certifications meet engineering and customer requirements prior to receipt.
- Receive materials accurately into the ERP system and maintain inventory integrity.
- Monitor and expedite open purchase orders by coordinating with suppliers to obtain order status, shipment updates, tracking information, and revised delivery dates to support production schedules.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, receiving, warehouse, or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles.
