Job Overview:
- The Senior Business Analyst partners with stakeholders across the Liquid Pipelines business and Technology & Information Services (TIS) to identify business needs, analyze processes, define requirements, and deliver technology solutions that support strategic priorities and operational objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor and key liaison, this role bridges business and technology teams to ensure investments deliver measurable value. The successful candidate brings strong business analysis and consulting expertise, structured problem-solving capabilities, and exceptional stakeholder management skills while serving as an integral member of the TIS Business Engagement team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational priorities, challenges, and technology needs.

Lead the elicitation, documentation, analysis, and validation of business, functional, and non-functional requirements for technology initiatives and transformation programs.

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to identify business needs, process improvement opportunities, and technology-enabled solutions.

Analyze current-state processes, workflows, systems, and data to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, improved user experience, enhanced decision-making, and higher data quality.

Develop business cases, process maps, user stories, requirements documentation, acceptance criteria, and other business analysis deliverables.

Collaborate with solution architects, project teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions align with business requirements and strategic objectives.

Assess, prioritize, and evaluate technology requests, projects, and enhancement opportunities based on business value, risk, regulatory requirements, and strategic alignment.

Provide consulting expertise and recommendations by applying business analysis methodologies, industry best practices, and structured problem-solving approaches.

Participate in solution design reviews and support technology delivery through testing, user acceptance activities, implementation planning, and solution adoption.

Support change management initiatives and stakeholder communications to facilitate successful transitions to new processes and technologies.

Monitor solution performance, stakeholder feedback, and business outcomes to identify continuous improvement opportunities and future enhancements.

Build and maintain strong working relationships across business, operational, and technology teams, acting as a trusted advisor between the Liquid Pipelines business and TIS.

Drive business modernization through process optimization, digital enablement, cross-functional collaboration, and the delivery of technology solutions that generate measurable business value.
Qualifications:

Experience within pipeline operations, energy, transportation, utilities, or other large-scale operational environments.

Knowledge of liquid pipeline operations, integrity management, engineering, commercial services, field operations, or asset management.

Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMP, Agile, or related credentials.

Demonstrated experience supporting digital transformation, business process improvement, and technology-enabled change initiatives.

Strong analytical, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
