Overview
Western Fruit Packers is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions across various departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong clerical skills and experience in office management to contribute to a professional and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
Handle filing, document proofreading, and general administrative tasks to ensure organized office operations
Provide customer support through phone etiquette, email correspondence, and in-person interactions
Assist with bookkeeping tasks and basic accounting procedures as needed
Support medical or dental office functions, including appointment scheduling and patient record management (if applicable)
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and calendar management for staff members
Maintain office supplies inventory and order necessary materials to ensure operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proven clerical or administrative experience, preferably in an office setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and QuickBooks
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, proofreading, and filing tasks
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette, emails, and communication abilities
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and respond promptly to inquiries
Experience with bookkeeping or basic accounting is a plus
Prior front desk or receptionist experience highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong typing skills with accuracy and speed

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a challenging yet rewarding administrative position within a supportive team environment.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
