Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 annually
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance and complete all required background screening requirements to work in a correctional facility.

Job Description
How You’ll Make an Impact:
In your new role as our District Manager Food Services (Corrections Services), you will lead and direct multiple teams through their daily activities. Your role will include Management support for contracts, food services, safety and compliance across multiple locations ensuring client satisfaction.

You will lead your teams through operational excellence, financial operations, food safety training and lead a strong safety culture within a very high-volume food service environment within a Corrections facilities across the Province of AB.

You will be based either in Edmonton or Calgary but must visit sites across AB on a rotational basis

Support contract management, liaise with clients to ensure compliance

Conduct Business Reviews and audits of sites

Provide formal supervision to employees, monitors the training and development of staff

Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings
-
Perform facility inspections quality assurance following physical and food safety regulations.

Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
-
Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC), Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC), and Provincial Government Security Clearance. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance and complete all required background screening requirements to work in a correctional facility.

Post-secondary education in Business Management, Hospitality Management, Facilities Coordination, Environmental Services, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Minimum 8- 10 years of experience in hospitality, guest services, catering, or related operational leadership roles.

Minimum 5 years of experience managing safety programs, return-to-work/modified duties programs, and strong familiarity with WCB, COR audits, and other related safety initiatives.

Minimum 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in supervisory and management roles.

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong project management and analytical skills, including the ability to read, analyze, interpret, and forecast project cost reports and assess project status related to scheduling and costing.

Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial data and profit and loss statements.

Valid driver's license.
