We are seeking Occupational Therapists interested in community and center-based rehabilitation, including:
- Community Adult Physical Health
- Neuro Rehabilitation (Stroke, ABI, TBI)

- Home Safety & Accessibility Assessments
Key Responsibilities
As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Conduct home safety assessments and recommend equipment/adaptive strategies.
- Support clients transitioning from hospital to home and community settings.
- Complete functional capacity evaluations and workplace assessments.
- Develop graduated return-to-work and activity progression plans.
- Provide education and consultation to clients, families, employers, and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with physicians, insurers, employers, and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Prepare high-quality clinical reports and documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
- Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to evidence-informed practice and continuous learning.
Preferred:
- Experience working with third-party insurers such as:
- WorkSafeBC
- ICBC
- Pediatrics
- Private insurers
- Experience in community rehabilitation, return-to-work, concussion, brain injury, or complex rehabilitation.
