Customer Service Representative

We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at Billyard Insurance Group – Peterborough. If you thrive on delivering exceptional client service, have a sharp eye for detail, and want to be part of a company that values integrity and teamwork, we want to hear from you!
What does the Customer Service Representative do?
As a CSR, you’ll be the lead contact for incoming calls and questions from our clients and prospective clients, ensuring they receive quality customer service. Your day-to-day will include:
· Serve as a point of contact for clients, liaison with team members within the company to enhance customer satisfaction
· Assisting with billing inquiries and processing
· Managing and servicing the existing book of business by handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
· Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and support.
· Identifying opportunities to enhance client coverage and recommending additional products or services.
· Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all policy documentation and transactions.
· Collaborating with underwriters and carriers to resolve client inquiries and coverage concerns.
· Maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring all interactions align with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Required:
· An active and current insurance broker license for the relevant provincial regulatory body (e.g., RIBO).
· A high school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a service-focused administrative role
· Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles, and regulatory compliance.
· Proficiency in policy management and CRM systems.
Asset:
· A university degree in a related field or a college diploma in Insurance from a Canadian post-secondary institution.
