Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent position in our Surrey office. You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during the Group Office's regular business hours.
Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
This role reports directly to the Manager, Recruitment & Onboarding.

A day in the Life
The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the full recruitment lifecycle, from developing recruiting strategies to onboarding new employees. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with employment laws and organizational hiring standards.
- Create, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple recruitment platforms.
- Source and screen resumes to identify qualified applicants.
- Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Complete all required due diligence and pre-employment checklists, including reference checks, background screening, and other hiring requirements.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
- Stay current on local employment laws, hiring regulations, and recruitment best practices to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Automotive recruitment experience is considered a strong asset.
- CPHR designation, or actively working toward obtaining the designation, is considered an asset.
- Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
- Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills.
- Experience with ATS systems, job boards, and career sites.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and accurate in all work and communication.
- Must be a team player and have a strong work ethic.
