Cortex Physio and Rehab is a modern physiotherapy clinic in Windsor specializing in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. We are dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care in a supportive environment. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate, part-time (3-4 days per week) Massage Therapist to join our great team! The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. As a Massage Therapist, you will work in a supportive environment that values professionalism and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform therapeutic massage using modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other specialized techniques, as per client needs.
- Conduct client consultations, including health history, treatment preferences, and any pertinent conditions.
- Maintain accurate session documentation, treatment plans, and notes as per clinic policy.
- Ensure treatment room, linens, and equipment are cleaned, organized, and sanitized between clients.
- Adhere to all clinic rules and protocols: hygiene, safety, confidentiality, professionalism, attendance, and scheduling.
- Respect and remain within the scope of practice of massage therapy.
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with data handling policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario; in good standing. Must have professional liability insurance.
- Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare providers.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey treatment plans and address client concerns effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with clients while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy techniques.
- Preferably 1+ years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in multiple modalities (e.g., deep tissue, sports massage), with additional certifications (prenatal, hot stone, CPR, etc.) considered a plus
