Health and Safety Administrator
Tomlinson is currently seeking a Health and Safety Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will perform administrative and clerical activities to support the operation of the Health & Safety team.
LOCATION: 100 CitiGate Drive, Ottawa

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide administrative support to the Manager, Specialists and Safety trainer.

Subject matter expert for SAP and Salus Pro.

Support Manager with WSIB claims:
-
Work with other departments to collect information
-
Submit Form 7s
-
Review WSIB claims and portal
-
Transfer information from incident reports to incident tracking excel sheet.
-
Manage H&S documentation in SharePoint and in SALUS.

Record and file training records for each worker attending training and produce proof of training cards for each worker.

Provide information requests for the various groups that would include but not be limited to:

WSIB Clearance certificates
-
WSIB Injury Summary Report
-
H & S Safety stats such as # of injuries, # of MVA’s etc.

Provide information for pre-qualifications
-
Point of control for CoR documents from the respective groups
-
Support with contractor portals such as ISN and Avetta.

Any other duties assigned by the Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years of experience in administration
-
Strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
COMPESATION INFORMATION:
The expected range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
