The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.
This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.
Tasks for this role include:
- Be the first point of contact for our Run participants—offer a warm welcome!
- Direct traffic and guide participants from the parking area to the Run site
- Monitor the drop-off/pick-up zone and help keep traffic flowing safely
- This is an active role in which you will need to stand for long periods of time
