Attrell Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Clerk to join our Service Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring manufacturer warranty claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards.

What You'll Do
Warranty Administration
- Prepare, submit, and monitor manufacturer warranty claims accurately and within required timelines.
- Review repair orders to ensure all warranty documentation is complete and meets manufacturer requirements.
- Verify labour operations, coding, technician stories, diagnostics, and supporting documentation.
- Correct and resubmit rejected or returned warranty claims.
- Monitor warranty receivables and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve warranty-related issues.
- Analyze warranty trends and identify opportunities to improve claim accuracy and reimbursement.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete and accurate warranty files for audit purposes.
- Ensure repair orders contain all required customer signatures, technician notes, diagnostics, and supporting documentation.
- Stay current with manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, recalls, and program updates.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
- Assist with manufacturer warranty audits and internal compliance reviews.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper warranty records.
- Upload and maintain warranty reports and service documentation.
- Assist in improving administrative processes and workflow efficiencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
Reporting & Financial Responsibilities
- Track warranty receivables and outstanding claims.
- Prepare weekly and monthly warranty reports for management.
- Monitor aged receivables and assist in resolving outstanding balances.
- Support Accounting with warranty reconciliations and reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive warranty administration experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of dealership service operations and manufacturer warranty processes.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), manufacturer warranty portals, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
