Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trim Carpenter and Cabinet Maker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing trim and molding in residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry principles, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Trim Carpenter will contribute to the overall quality and aesthetic of our projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through precise execution.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, molding, cabinetry, and other woodwork components using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, including woodwork repairs and refinishing.
- Install cabinetry and perform woodworking tasks with precision to meet design specifications.
- Utilize advanced tools for custom fabrication when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Extensive experience with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on job sites.
- Strong understanding of construction principles including carpentry techniques for cabinet installation, trim carpentry tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
