Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Framer to join our team and contribute to the successful completion of residential and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, blueprint reading, and various framing techniques. This role involves working on-site to construct, install, and repair structures using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Experience in concrete forming, siding, woodworking, and welding is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate framing work.
- Build and install wall frames, floors, roofs, and other structural components using carpentry skills.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as required for various projects.
- Install siding, sheathing, and other exterior or interior building materials.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials up to specified weight limits while maintaining safety protocols.
- Assist with welding tasks related to framing or structural reinforcement when necessary.
- Follow safety guidelines consistently to maintain a safe work environment on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction framing or carpentry with a solid understanding of building techniques.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, concrete finishing, siding installation, woodworking, welding, and restoration projects is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively is a plus.
- Prior use of hand tools and power tools required for framing tasks.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship in previous roles.
Pay: $19.71-$35.00 per hour
