The Power Engineer 4th Class is responsible for assisting with monitoring, repairs and maintenance of plant operations in accordance with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA) standards and practices. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:
A 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of building maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare. Knowledge of boilers, HVAC, BAS/BCMS, and preventative maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of building systems and equipment. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
