Job Summary
M.E. Auto Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Shop Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for our customers and employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning both the office areas and the automotive repair shop.
Responsibilities
● Clean offices, reception area, waiting room, and staff room.
● Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors.
● Clean and sanitize washrooms.
● Empty garbage and recycling bins.
● Dust desks, shelves, counters, and office furniture.
● Clean interior windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
● Wash walls and remove marks, fingerprints, and scuffs as needed.
● Sweep, mop, and maintain the garage/shop floor.
● Keep work bays, storage areas, and walkways clean and organized.
● Remove trash and debris from the shop and dispose of waste properly.
● Refill restroom and cleaning supplies.
● Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
● Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
● Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
● Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
● Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workplace.
● Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
● Legally eligible to work in Canada.
