The Junior Logistics Analyst will assist with analyzing courier and freight forwarder reports, consolidating transport and customs data, and filing/monitoring customs duty and tax claims.
Tasks:

Review commercial invoices and shipment documents to identify incorrect duties and surcharges

File dispute claims with couriers for shipments with incorrect charges

Communicate and report discrepancies to the Finance team promptly

Document all identified discrepancies and dispute actions internally for record-keeping and audit purposes

Follow up with couriers on the status of dispute claims until resolution

Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to resolve shipment charge issues

Create and maintain KPIs and the necessary tracking spreadsheets relating to transport duties and taxes.
Requirements:

Bachelor degree in a Logistics or Procurement related areas

Minimum of 1 year experience in Logistics, Procurement, Customs or related areas

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and ERP systems; experience with shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx, DHL) is an asset.

Familiarity with SAP transactions, preferably within the MM (Materials Management) module

Experience interpreting commercial invoices and bills of lading

Familiarity with import/export regulations, tariff classification (HS code), and trade agreements (e.g., CUSMA/USMCA).
