Compensation: $24 - $26 per hour, commensurate with experience
About Us
Imperial Collision Centre is a busy and growing automotive collision centre located in Sudbury, Ontario. As part of the Laking Group of Companies, we are committed to providing quality service, professional workmanship, and a positive customer experience.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong accounting, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare customer invoices and reconcile insurance payments.
- Complete daily bank deposits and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end procedures and financial reporting
- Reconcile repair orders and vendor invoices.
- Communicate professionally with insurance companies, customers, and vendors.
- Support payroll administration as required.
- Maintain confidential financial and employee information.
- Provide administrative support to the management team as needed.
- Assist with customer service support at the front reception desk when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Experience in the automotive or collision repair industry is considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software; familiarity with dealership management systems is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
