Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with various teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and proficiency with construction management software to facilitate efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Oversee subcontractors and construction crews, providing clear direction and support to meet project milestones.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Manage project documentation using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6.
- Conduct quality control checks and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control by tracking expenses and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates to guide on-site activities effectively.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently by all personnel on site, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and suppliers to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in commercial or residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability in construction estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Extensive experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Background in quality control procedures within a construction environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for construction sites.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
