Overview
KSN Contracting Services Ltd. is looking for a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. We complete commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Edmonton area.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and committed to building a career in carpentry. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you'll work alongside experienced carpenters while developing the skills and experience needed to advance in the trade.
This position includes a combination of hands-on carpentry work and general labour duties. You'll be supporting projects while learning the trade in a safe and practical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyperson carpenters with daily construction activities.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare, clean, and maintain construction sites.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Assist with carpentry tasks under the direction of experienced carpenters.
- Follow company safety policies and safe work procedures.
- Perform other general labour duties as required.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- The ability to communicate in English.
- The ability to lift 50lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Registration in a Carpentry Apprenticeship Program is an asset. Applicants who are interested in pursuing an apprenticeship are also encouraged to apply. Previous construction experience is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
