Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, hard-working individual for a temporary role supporting our merchandise operations at the BC Summer Games in Kelowna, July 22–26, 2026. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position at one of BC’s biggest amateur sporting events, where you’ll help bring our retail presence to life on-site. Responsibilities include booth setup, inventory handling, and delivering excellent customer service to fans, athletes, and families as you sell official BC Summer Games merchandise and accessories. The ideal candidate is physically capable, personable under pressure, and comfortable working in a high-traffic, high-energy environment.

Duties
- Set up and tear down the merchandise booth/display
- Handle and organize inventory throughout the event
- Sell merchandise and provide friendly, professional customer service to event attendees
- Keep the booth stocked, tidy, and visually appealing
- Process cash/card transactions accurately
- Work as part of a small team in a fast-paced, high-traffic event environment
Requirements
- Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes throughout the day
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, outgoing attitude
- Previous retail, event, or festival experience is an asset (not required)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full days for the duration of the event
- Must be based in Kelowna — this role is only open to local applicants
