The Role
As a Junior Developer, you’ll support the development, automation, and enhancement of solutions built within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. This entry-level role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience in C#, PowerShell, Microsoft APIs, and DevOps workflows while learning from senior team members.
You’ll contribute to client and internal initiatives through team-based agile development, structured learning, and mentorship. This role is a great fit for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and excited to grow their technical capabilities while helping build practical, well-maintained solutions.
What You’ll Do
Software Development & Automation
- Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining C# code that is clear, reliable, and aligned with team standards
- Develop and update PowerShell scripts to support automation within Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Help build and enhance custom applications, tools, and utilities that support internal and client needs
- Participate in troubleshooting, bug fixing, script optimization, and code improvements
- Follow secure coding standards and best practices with guidance from the team
DevOps & CI/CD:
- Learn and support CI/CD pipeline practices using tools such as Azure DevOps and Git
- Assist with deployment processes, automated testing practices, and build pipeline activities
- Participate in integrating scripts and code into development and deployment workflows
Code Quality & Review:
- Learn and apply best practices for code check-in, branching, committing, and merging
- Participate in code reviews to receive feedback and improve consistency, quality, and maintainability
- Apply constructive feedback from senior team members and contribute to team learning
- Write and update clear technical documentation related to code changes and solution updates
Microsoft 365 & Azure Development:
- Gain exposure to Microsoft 365 APIs, Microsoft Graph, and SharePoint REST
- Assist in developing and modifying solutions using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and related services
- Support cloud-based project work while learning best practices in security, identity, and access management
- Contribute to solutions with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Work closely with developers, consultants, and project teams to understand requirements and support delivery
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
- Communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly to your team lead and project team
Continuous Learning:
- Build technical skills through hands-on project work, internal training, and mentorship
- Stay current with evolving tools, trends, and best practices—especially within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Pursue relevant Microsoft certifications and learning opportunities with company support
What You Bring
- New grads are welcome
- 1+ year of relevant work, internship, co-op, or project experience in software development
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems, or a related field
- Basic experience or coursework in C# or PowerShell
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git through academic, project, or practical experience
- Interest in Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft APIs, and cloud-based technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and documentation abilities
