Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are sanitized, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks with efficiency and professionalism, supporting the overall upkeep of commercial spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure thorough sanitation
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or maintenance
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support building operations
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during cleaning tasks
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $15.41-$20.00 per hour
