Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of medical and dental office procedures, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. This role requires a professional who can coordinate staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and deliver exceptional patient care. The Clinic Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining efficient clinic operations while fostering a positive environment for staff and patients alike.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient service
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to promote a productive team environment
- Oversee human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, and addressing employee concerns
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems such as Dentrix or similar platforms
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and privacy laws (HIPAA)
- Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to optimize clinic efficiency
- Coordinate with medical professionals including nursing staff to facilitate patient care delivery
- Implement policies and procedures to improve clinic operations and patient satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and promote excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical office management
- Strong knowledge of electronic medical records systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations (HIPAA compliance)
- Supervisory experience managing teams within healthcare settings
- Background in human resources functions including staffing and employee relations
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource planning in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of hospital or acute care settings is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in nursing or healthcare administration is advantageous
