Spirit Halloween Nanaimo is getting ready to open at North Nanaimo Town Centre!
Spirit Halloween is the largest seasonal Halloween retailer in North America. We offer a unique, fun and scary shopping experience for the whole family. Our mission is to provide customers with quality, affordable costumes and accessories that will bring out their Halloween Spirit.
We are now looking for enthusiastic seasonal full-time and part-time sales associates that have a passion for Halloween at our Nanaimo North location.
Duties
We are currently hiring for associates who will assist in setting up the store. Duties include:
- Receving truck shipments
- Merchandising products using a planogram
- Opening and sorting boxes into categories
- Breaking down cardboard and other cleaning duties
- Pricing of products
Duties require some heavy lifting, long periods of standing and walking.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when necessary
- Ability to suggestive sell and promote products effectively
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Part-time applicants are required to be available a minimum of 3 shifts per week
- Full-time applicants are required to be available a minimum of 4 shifts per week
- Preferred 2 years of retail experience
- Merchandising experience is an asset
We offer competitive wages starting at $19.25 depending on previous experience and availability.
