Your Opportunity!
Durand Heating & Cooling is recruiting for a Permanent Full-Time Project Manager - HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical to join our company in Hensall. In this role, you will oversee multiple construction and service projects, from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project schedules and coordinate daily activities
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and ensure timelines and milestones are met
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders
- Schedule and coordinate permits and inspections
- Track project costs, budgets, profitability, and forecasts
- Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports
- Communicate with customers, consultants, general contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Identify and resolve project issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
- Coordinate field operations and support technicians
- Oversee shop organization and inventory to ensure materials and equipment are readily available
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of project management experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical construction
- Strong understanding of construction practices and mechanical/electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
- Valid Driver's Licence
