Fort St. John Physiotherapy Clinic is looking for a part-time receptionist/physiotherapy assistant. The ideal applicant will have a vibrant and friendly personality, as well as good communication skills and the drive to provide excellent customer service. This position is for the afternoon/closing shift, an earlier start may be required on occasion, availability between 6:45am and 6:45pm Monday-Friday is preferred. We offer a competitive wage based on experience.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Greeting and assisting clients
- Answering the phone
- Use of computer for responding to emails, uploading documents, scheduling appointments and updating client profiles
- Use of fax machine and photocopier
- Billing and collecting payment from clients, insurance companies and third parties
- Keeping rooms stocked
- Do laundry daily
- Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, equipment and a general tidy workplace.
There is also a large portion of the job that involves assisting physiotherapists with their patients. This could include setting them up on exercise equipment, providing them with heat packs, etc.
Candidate requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma
- Fast learner & strong computer skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be punctual & self driven
- Work independently
- Other related schooling is an asset - office experience is an asset
- Work time flexibility
