Phillips Bros Excavating, a family owned and operated company, has been proudly serving the construction industry for over 30 years. We are currently seeking an Experienced Class 1 Truck & Trailer Driver who would be responsible for safely operating a truck with a trailer to transport and deliver materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, or construction debris to and from job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate a truck and trailer safely and efficiently, adhering to all company safety standards.
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
· Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the truck and trailer.
· Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other drivers.
Requirements:
· Valid Class 1 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
· Clean driver’s abstract.
· Experience operating dump trailers or tandem tandems IS REQUIRED.
· Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and inspection procedures.
· Ability to lift and secure loads as required.
· Experience in civil construction IS REQUIRED.
