Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brewery Taproom Manager to oversee daily operations of our taproom. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the beverage industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring AGLC standards, and creating an inviting environment for guests. Experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or the food industry is highly valued, along with familiarity with POS systems such as toast. The Brewery Taproom Manager will play a key role in maintaining the quality and reputation of our taproom while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily taproom operations, including beverage service
- Lead and manage a team of staff, including training and maintaining standards
- Oversee AGLC compliance
- Manage POS transactions using Toast; handle cash handling responsibilities accurately
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the taproom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels for beverages, and supplies and submit order requests as needed
- Collaborate with brewery staff on new product launches or special events to enhance guest experience
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or the food industry; supervising or team management experience preferred
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast; cash handling experience required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing, training, and managing staff effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organization
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Wage
- starting from $18 an hour plus tips
